A smoother arrival starts with the right checks. Understand prohibited goods, permit requirements and our warehouse rules before placing your order.
Keep these out of your cargo.
- Illegal narcotics and prohibited psychotropic substances.
- Vapes, electronic cigarettes and related products or devices.
- Pornographic materials and sex toys.
- Materials contrary to Islam and idols intended for worship.
- Live pigs.
Do not order, conceal or send prohibited goods through another shipment.

- Alcohol and pork products: special import approvals apply.
- Weapons, ammunition, replicas, explosives and fireworks: controlled import permissions apply.
- Chemicals, acids and poisons: authorization is required.
- Plants and animals: health certification and relevant approvals are required.
- Radio transmitting equipment: communications approval may be required.
- Tobacco: mandatory health warnings and import rules apply.
A permit does not automatically mean Best Buddy can carry the item. Confirm both import eligibility and carrier acceptance before purchase.

- Batteries, battery-powered products, liquids and magnetic goods: send the specifications before dispatch.
- Fragile goods: confirm protective packaging and wooden frames.
- Branded products: provide accurate product and supplier information.
- Fresh, live or dangerous cargo: our standard warehouse service does not accept it without an agreed eligible service.
Warehouse and carrier requirements are separate from Maldives import law. Declare the contents accurately on your invoice and packing list.

- Send your buddy the product link, photos, quantity and intended use.
- Include materials, ingredients, battery details and any safety data supplied by the manufacturer.
- Confirm the product classification and required permits with Customs or the responsible authority.
- Get shipping acceptance, then prepare the invoice, packing list and carton labels.
